Answer:

The solution set is {-12,2}.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given a quadratic equation.

x² + 10x = 24

We have to find the solution of above equation by completing square.

Adding (5)² to both sides of above equation, we have

x²+10+(5)²  = 24+ (5)²

(x+5)² = 24+25

(x+5)² = 49

Taking square root to both sides of above equation, we have

x+5 = ±7

x+5 = 7 or x+5 = -7

x = 7-5 or x = -7-5

x = 2 or  x = -12

Hence, the solution set is {-12,2}.

HELP MEE IM DIEING please i need help I'm very stupid and idk these things and if u could explain to me how I can add fractions
Dafna1 [17]
Fraction adding: Okay, so if you have two fractions with the same denominator like 2/3 and 1/3 then they are easily added. Just add the numerators together and then keep the denominator. Like this: 2/3 + 1/3 = 3/3 or 1 whole. Here is something for fractions with unlike denominators.
