Answer:Pets are known to affect people's health in a beneficial way. Just by their sheer presence, pets can lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and reduce stress. For people who've had a heart attack, the odds of survival jump from 1 in 87 to 1 in 15 for dog owners.

Answer:

People and animals have had a long history of living together and having a close relationship. Perhaps the oldest evidence of this special relationship was discovered a few years ago in Israel where a 12,000- year- old human skeleton was found buried with its hand resting on the skeleton of a canine. Historians are not sure when people started having animals as pets. Dogs were probably the first pets. Ancient Romans were known to have pets. American colonist brought a few pets with them to the new world. Through history, pets have played a very important part in their human's lives.

3d

Today, animal companions are more popular than ever. The pet population nationwide in the US has been growing dramatically for nearly half a century, from about 40 million pets in 1967 to more than 160,000,000 in 2010. It is estimated that there our around 500 million dogs in the world now.

4th

There is growing research that suggests owning or interacting with animals may have the added benefit of improving your health. A cat or a dog, especially one that is closely bonded to you, can be in sync with your emotions. If you have ever been upset and had your dog go up to check on you, you know how much this makes you feel better. There are plenty of scientific studies that show us that having pets around can lower one's blood pressure and help us relax. Several studies have shown that dog owners may get more exercise than the rest of us. Pets provide company that helps to lower stress. The truth is that when you give them what they need, they can give back a lot love and joy while also keeping us healthy. When you mess up, they are willing to forgive you. Pets are a source of comfort and they help develop empathy in young children. Pets provide many health benefits to the owners.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the reason I chose this topic is because I have had a dog for 9 years, and now he has cancer and he is sick and dying. This led me to wonder, why do people have pets. It's not all about unconditional love. On an emotional level, owning a pet can decrease stress and anxiety. Health wise, owning a pet can have major health benefits in one's life.

Answer:

The “American Dream” has been a recurring theme in President Trump’s rhetoric. He invoked it in announcing his bid for the presidency, saying, “Sadly, the American Dream is dead. But if I get elected president, I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before and we will make America great again.” He celebrated its return in a speech in February to the Conservative Political Action Conference, saying, “The American Dream is back bigger, better and stronger than ever before.”

And recently, he has invoked it in his law-and-order-focused tweets, saying: “Suburban voters are pouring into the Republican Party because of the violence in Democrat run cities and states. If Biden gets in, this violence is ‘coming to the Suburbs’, and FAST. You could say goodbye to your American Dream!”

Of course, the American Dream is part of the political discourse for both the left and the right. Richard Nixon invoked the American Dream in accepting the Republican presidential nomination in 1968. Democrat Jimmy Carter mentioned it in his inaugural address in 1977. Ronald Reagan invoked it in his 1980s prime-time addresses to the nation. Barack Obama embraced it in his book “The Audacity of Hope.”
