The inside diameter (ID) of copper pipe is determined by the wall thickness of the pipe, which varies by the pipe type. The internal or external fluid pressure may determine the type of copper piping specified for any application, the installation, the service conditions, and the local building code requirements.

Why is blood isotonic to cells?
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Blood is isotonic to cells in order to conserve the shape and structure of the surrounding cells.

  • Isotonic solutions are solutions that have the same concentration of water on both sides of a cell membrane.

  • In this case, the blood is an aqueous fluid that exhibits isotonic properties compared to its surrounding cells.

  • Isotonicity enables the blood to transport oxygen and nutrients to the cells but simultaneously conserves the structure and form of these cells.

In conclusion, blood is isotonic to cells in order to conserve the shape and structure of the surrounding cells.

How did scientific names impact classification
Zanzabum
Actually, the names don't affect the classification at all - it does not matter how something is called, as it does not change its characteristics.

The classification of organism is based on their evolution and characteristics and it's a scientific consensus based on the data. Names don't impact it at all.

However, to increase understanding in science, scientist made the names after the place in the classification - so the scientific classification determines the names (but not the other way round).

Most offten you can tell how an animal is classified from the name, but only because it was named after this classification.
