The answer is 1:30 or 1/30.

There are 6 possible outcomes from rolling a dice, so you multiply 6 and the amount of times rolled, in this case its 20.

6 x 20 = 120

It says what is the probability of rolling 1 or 2 from the 20 rolls. So you multiply 2 and 20, which gives you 40.

The probability is 40/120, but you must simplify it, by dividing both sides of the fraction by its greatest common factor. The GCF is 40, so it is 1/30

The number of surface flaws in a plastic roll used for auto interiors follows a Poisson distribution with a mean of 0.05 flaw pe
ElenaW [278]

Answer:

0.6065

Step-by-step explanation:

Probability mass function of probability distribution : P(X=x)=\frac{e^{-\lambda} \times \lambda^x}{x !}

a mean of 0.05 flaw per square foot

Each car contains 10 sq.feet of the plastic roll

Mean = 0.05

Mean = \lambda = 0.05 \times 10=0.5

We are supposed to find What is the probability that there are no flaws in a given car’s interior i.e,P(X=0)

Substitute the value in the formula

P(X=0)=\frac{e^{-0.5} \times (0.5)^0x}{0 !}

P(X=0)=\frac{e^{-0.5} \times (0.5)^0}{1}

P(X=0)=0.6065

Hence the probability that there are no flaws in a given car’s interior is 0.6065

Richard ran the route A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-A. Which of the following paths taken by Richard appear to be perpsndicular to path BC?
Artist 52 [7]
<h3>Answer: B) segment CD</h3>

Perpendicular segments form a 90 degree angle (aka right angle). Segment BC appears to be perpendicular to both AB and CD. I use the phrasing "appears to be" since it's not entirely clear if they actually are perpendicular. The use of a square angle marker would indicate the segments form a 90 degree angle. Such a symbol is missing.
