Answer:

The cell membrane and mitochondria work together in order to perform an important biochemical process. The process is called respiration. In respiration, glucose molecule is broken down by mitochondria of the cell to release energy with the addition of oxygen. This oxygen is provided by the cell membrane by the process of diffusion. This respiration process is very important because cell needs energy for performing different activities.

Fructose-1,6-bisphosphate is a feedforward ________ activator of liver pyruvate kinase
Triss [41]

Fructose-1,6-bisphosphate is a feedforward allosteric activator of liver pyruvate kinase.

What is the role of fructose 1/6-Bisphosphate?

A crucial enzyme in gluconeogenesis is fructose 1,6-bisphosphatase (FBPase). It is a possible target for drugs used to treat type II diabetes. Additionally, the protein is linked to a rare genetic metabolic disorder, and certain cancer cells lack the activity of the enzyme FBPase, which encourages glycolysis and aids in the Warburg effect.

The following reaction is catalyzed by FBPase. The enzyme is controlled allosterically by several small molecules, including AMP and fructose-2,6-phosphate, which are negative regulators, and ATP, which is a positive regulator. Pyruvate kinase activity is activated when FBP attaches to the allosteric binding site on domain C of the enzyme. This conformational shift is brought on by a change in the enzyme's structure.

Why is oxygen atom of one water molecule attracted to hydrogen atom of another water molecule?
rewona [7]

Ionic bonds are between metals and are permanent and very strong. They could hardly be called an attraction. This happens when one atom steals another atoms electron. Covalent bonds are strong but occurs between two different atoms they are also permanent to in this bond they share electrons and not take away. Hydrogen bonds are temporary and occur between molecules that have hydrogen and molecules that have elements like oxygen which become attracted to the hydrogen. These are weak but when they build up they can become very strong.
