We all know what's right, and what's wrong, but sometimes, we forget that. We need to help children undestand that some things are okay and harmless, but other things are just simply abuse. When they realize the difference between the two, they will be more willing to have you guide them into making the right friends (or friend groups) they choose. We also have to leave the descision up to them to decide which friends they want to socialize and hang out with, but we as responsibe adults over them have to also help them to be guided to the right choices. Being independent is one thing, and it is good, but we all need guidance form one another now and then. We are here to help children, and that is what need to be done.
