Answer:

Technolgy helps with one's basic motor functions and disabilities. With recent advancements in the past century, we have been bale to make prosthetics for people without limbs, eyes, appendages, and even joints in elderly people's knees. These prosthetics help disabled people run and walk.

Another way technology helps disabled peole is with wheelchair lifts for buses, SUV's, and other large vehicles. It looks like a forklift, but it is also a functioning sort of elevator for people in wheelchairs, so they can ride buses and in other vehicles with everyone else.

Vikki [24]

Answer:

The correct answer is A. Outward appearances can be deceiving.

Explanation:

In the quote, we can see that Frankenstein's monster (if we should call him that) tells us how he is harmless and can even be beneficial (meaning, helpful, useful), but all people choose to see is his appearance rather than what's inside.

Namely, Doctor Frankenstein brought a corpse back to life and thus created his monster. Obviously, a reanimated corpse looks scary and people often cannot see beyond the physical, which is something the monster is lamenting in the quote above. He says that even though he may look like a monster, his characteristics are not monstrous, and that people shouldn't read the book by its cover (in other words, outward appearances can be deceiving).

Which part of speech is the underlined word in the sentence?
motikmotik
The part of speech that has the underlined word in a sentence is…

The answer isn't A because it doesn't provide the emotion of the speaker. The answer is B because it has to do something with the expression with the relation of place, like "well." The answer isn't C because it doesn't involve things occurring at the same point in time and space. The answer is D because it shows the relationship between a noun and a pronoun, like "by." So the answers are B and D.
