Answer:

Mass does not affect gravity and distance has an indirect relationship.

Explanation:

The equation for gravity is, g = \frac{GM}{R^{2} }

where, G = gravitational constant

M = mass of the planet

R = distance between the bodies (object and center of planet)

so, gravity depends on the mass of planet, not on mass of object

and is inversely proportional to sqaure of distance.

Answer:

Mass is a direct relationship and distance is indirect.

Explanation:

Gravity is a force that exists naturally in nature and that is primarily responsible for defining the weight of bodies and the vertical and downward force that keeps us attached to the surface of the earth. There are two components that interfere with the gravitational force of the bodies, these elements are the amount of mass that the bodies have and the distance at which two bodies meet. The more mass a body has, the greater the gravitational force. In addition, the closer two bodies are, the greater the gravitational force between them.

As an example, we can mention that the sun has much more mass than the earth and therefore has a gravitational force strong enough to attract it and make it orbit around it. The earth, in turn, has more mass than us humans. For this reason we are attracted by its surface. However, the sun has a much greater gravitational pull than the earth, so why are we not attracted to the sun? because we are closer to the earth, making it attract us with more strength.

With that, we can conclude that, in relation to gravity, mass is a direct relationship and distance is indirect.

haw are living organisms department on the soil?are organisms that live in water totally independent of soil as a resource
OleMash [197]
Organisms that live in water are not totally independent of soil as a resource. These organisms depend on aquatic plants for food and other substances. These aquatic plants in turn require minerals for their sustenance. These minerals are carried to waterbodies from soil by rivers, rainwater etc.

The reason for the change in the hands of the chimpanzee include:

  • Crossbreeding between gorillas and chimpanzees( Represents a reason for the change)
  • Mutations in chimpanzee DNA ( Represents a reason for the change)
  • Differences in the ways chimpanzees use their hands ( Doesn't represents a reason for the change)
  • Sexual reproduction ( Doesn't represents a reason for the change)
  • Differences in enhancer sequences( Represents a reason for the change).

What is mutation?

Mutation is defined as the alteration in the genetic makeup of a living organism which may occur due to the following:

  • When there is spontaneous break down of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA).
  • Change in a single nucleotide of the DNA.
  • when there is additions or deletions of nucleotide in a DNA strand.

A change can be noticed in an animal such as Chimpanzee when the following occurs:

Mutations in chimpanzee DNA: This can alter both that anatomy and the physiological features of the organism involved.

Crossbreeding between gorillas and chimpanzees: When there is cross breeding between a chimpanzee and a gorilla, it will lead to a genetic diversity which can be observed as a change in the hands of the chimpanzee.
