Answer:

The time zones on the planet merge into a point at both the North and South posts. The lines of scope become littler as they move away from the Equator and arrive at a solitary point at the two Poles. Now, the majority of the world's time zones unite.

Subsequently, it is anything but difficult to check South Pole since it is situated on the land, yet for all intents and purposes unrealistic to stamp North Pole in the Ocean.

The term 'Time Zone' is alludes to the nearby time of an area or a nation. On the off chance that you in any city close to the equator, similar to Nairobi, Kenya, each time zone is around 1,035 miles wide.

How are edge cities formed and how are they beneficial/detrimental?
sergey [27]

Hey there! I'm happy to help!

Edge cities are usually formed because land in the suburbs or on the outskirts of the city is cheaper (bid-rent curve), so they can make more a profit.

These businesses are normally connected the the CBD (central business district) so transportation to and from that area is still possible.

People that live in the suburbs or are visiting the main city have easy access to the edge city as you might not have to travel as far to these cities as the CBD (distance decay).

Edge cities can be a good thing because they allow for new businesses to thrive and they can increase economic activity and competition due to new construction, cheaper prices, new companies moving in, etc.

However, they can also be a detriment to the CBD because they might allow companies to relocate due to the cheaper land prices, they might take in the typical customers of the CBD companies, ultimately leading to the vacancy of the CBDs, which could be dangerous and create high-crime, unsanitary, or contaminated areas. It can also take attention away from significant or historical monuments and locations in the CBD.

Have a wonderful day and keep on learning! :D

Answer:

Some people in Quebec want to separate from CANADA because their heritage and culture make them a minority.

Explanation:

Quebec Sovereignty Movement was a political movement for the independence of Quebec from Canada.

It was first started in 1960's. The main reason behind it was that people believed that English Canadian domination of the confederation was the cause for economic difficulties of Quebic. However, in late 20th century, economics conditions of Quebic started to improve, and the sole motivation left behind the movement was the difference of culture and heritage, which made them a minority.
