<u>Answer:</u>

<em>The time zones on the planet merge into a point at both the North and South posts.</em> The lines of scope become littler as they move away from the Equator and arrive at a solitary point at the two Poles. Now, the majority of the world's time zones unite.

Subsequently, it is anything but <em>difficult to check South Pole since it is situated on the land,</em> yet for all intents and purposes unrealistic to stamp North Pole in the Ocean.

The term 'Time Zone' is alludes to the nearby time of an area or a nation. <em>On the off chance that you in any city close to the equator, similar to Nairobi, Kenya, each time zone is around 1,035 miles wide.</em>

You're building a 12 foot ramp to the entrance of a building 3 feet above the ground. The ADA regulations require the incline of
Natalija [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

We can assume that:

the 12 foot ramp to the entrance of a building is the base of a right angled triangle and the  3 feet above the ground should be the height above the ground basement. The by using the tangent of a triangle from the knowledge of our trigonometric function; we have:

\mathbf{tan  \ \theta = \frac{opposite}{adjacent}}

\mathbf{tan  \ \theta = \frac{3}{12}} \\ \\ \mathbf{tan  \ \theta = 0.25 } \\ \\ \mathbf{\theta = tan^{-1} (0.25)} \\ \\ \mathbf{\theta = 14.04^o}

The degree measure of the angle of elevation is 14.04°

NO, it doesn't fit the requirements.

We can increase the foot ramp to 34 feet instead of being the 12 given value in order to fit the requirements.

Summarize the features of the earth’s atmosphere. What are the main gases? Be sure to name the various layers. What is a tempera
VikaD [51]

The earth’s atmosphere is composed of (in order from lowest of highest);

  1. Troposphere
  2. Stratosphere
  3. Mesosphere
  4. Thermosphere
  5. Exosphere

The density of the molecules of air reduce with increase in altitude. Therefore the higher layers have low air density that those below them.

The exosphere (the outermost layer) extends to outer space and is composed of lighter gases such as helium,  hydrogen, carbon dioxide and atomic oxygen.

The rest of the layers consist of molecular oxygen, atomic oxygen, molecule nitrogen, atomic nitrogen, and hydrogen.

The thermosphere has a temperature inversion – increase in temperatures with altitude. This is due to absorption of UV by the ozone layer; the highest ozone layers absorb most of the UV.

Effects of UHI on the economy
ludmilkaskok [199]

Answer:

The economic cost of increased energy demand in the warmer months is offset by the benefits of reduced energy demand due to warmer condition that the UHI creates during colder winter months.
