Answer:

A tire without good traction has less grip on the road.

Explanation:

during inclement weather, especially snow and ice, even if properly inflated, the tire will spin but not move forward & driver will not have control over the vehicle, causing the vehicle to slip sideways into (other traffic, over the side of the road, possibly falling over a steep decent).

A tire without good traction has less grip on the road (A). It can cause the tire to spin but not move forward, causing the vehicle to slideways into other traffic, possibly falling over a step decent, or over the side of the road.

EXPLANATION:

The tire is the most important part of the car, yet it is the most ignored. Tire controls all the dynamics of a moving car because it becomes the only contact between the car and the road. When a tire has lees traction, it will cause the car to slip and lose its grip to the surface of the road. On the other hand, a tire with a high traction rating will get a better grip on wet pavement or prevent hydroplaning. Thus, all of the drivers need to make sure that their car has good tire traction to prevent any accident.

Here are other important functions of tire traction:

• To transfer the braking power from the braking system of the car to the road

• To provide shock absorbing for the unsprung mass of the car

• To provide traction to the road surface so that the car can move

• To change and maintain the direction of travel of the vehicle.

• To transmit the load of the car.

Tire traction also has its grade. It is AA, A, B, or C rating. Tire traction with AA-grade has the best possible traction. Whereas tire traction with C grade is the lowest grade. If drivers want to get the best tire traction to their car, they have to choose the best grade of the tire traction. Yet, the grade of tire traction doesn’t affect to car’s ability to turning and cornering.
