There are many reactions to probing questions. Humans generally reacts in a defensive manner then they are been grilled with questions beyond the surface. As much as the interviewer wants to draw out depths from the person they are interviewing, it's absolutely vital that there is a limit to what can be asked and a line needs to be in place between trying to know in full or interrogation.
