The map explains where the original territory of the Native American groups was, while also indicating where they where forced to relocate. Therefore, based on the map, we are able to see the long distances that these people were forced to walk in order to reach their designated lands. The map, however, makes no mention of the federal troops, the diseases they encountered or the time it took for the relocation to take place.
