HEY YOU!! I️ NEED YOUR HELP!!! #8 5/8x+1/16x=5:16+x what’s the solution set? Please?

Mathematics
1 answer:
ahrayia [7]3 years ago
6 0

you mean : 5/8x + 1/16x = 5/16 +x

<=> 10/16x +1/16x = (5 +16x)/16

(16x # 0)

<=> 11/16x = x(5+16x)/(16x)

<=>11 = x(5+16x)

<=> 11 = 16x^2 + 5x

<=> x =-1 or x =11/16

Mrs Bain earns 30,483 per year how much money does she earn in one month . Write you're answer correct to the nearest dollar pls
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

$2,540

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that Mrs Bain earns $30,483 per year.

We are asked to find the amount she earns in one month . Number of month is a year = 12

Total earning in 12 months = $30,483

Hence earning per month = \frac{30483}{12}

= $2,540.25

We are asked to Write our  answer correct to the nearest dollar. Nearest Dolllar is $2,540

Hence total earning per month will be $2,540

Determine the period.
Marianna [84]

The period of the given graph is 2π.

A period is the amount of time between two waves, whereas a periodic function is one whose values recur at regular intervals or periods. In other terms, a periodic function is one whose values recur after a specific interval.

This specific time span indicated above is the function's period.

The length of one function wave is referred to as the period.

The sine and cosine functions have a period of 2π radians, or 360 degrees. The period of the tangent function is π radians, or 180 degrees.

What are the steps to solve this problem C=6/(6+12)*180
Talja [164]
C = 6/(6+ 12)*180              We solve the bracket first.

C = 6/(18)*180       From here we can solve any first.

    = 1/3 * 180

     = 60

Evan wants to build a rectangular enclosure for his animals. One side of the pen will be against the barn, so he needs no fence
pentagon [3]

Answer:  A.   A=(1000-2w)*w      B. 250 feet

C.  125 000 square feet

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of rectangular is A=l*w    (1)

From another hand the length of the fence is 2*w+l=1000        (2)

L is not multiplied by 2, because the opposite side of the l is the barn,- we don't need in fence on that side.

Express l from (2):

l=1000-2w

Substitude l in (1) by 1000-2w

A=(1000-2w)*w        (3)   ( Part A. is done !)

Part B.

To find the width w  (Wmax) that corresponds to max of area A   we have to dind the roots of equation (1000-2w)w=0  ( we get it from (3))

w1=0  1000-2*w2=0

w2=500

Wmax= (w1+w2)/2=(0+500)/2=250 feet

The width that maximize area A is Wmax=250 feet

Part C.   Using (3) and the value of Wmax=250 we can write the following:

A(Wmax)=250*(1000-2*250)=250*500=125 000 square feets
