Background information: In this passage from The Iliad, Hector responds to his wife, who is worried that he will fall in battle.

Wife, I too have thought upon all this, but with what face should I look upon the Trojans, men or women, if I shirked battle like a coward? I cannot do so: I know nothing save to fight bravely in the forefront of the Trojan host and win renown alike for my father and myself. —Homer, The Iliad, ca. 800 BCE Which character trait does Homer assign to his hero, Hector, in this passage? compassion kindness bravery cowardice

Answer: Bravery

In this excerpt, it is clear that Hector is a brave character. His wife is trying to convince him to not go to war, as she is worried about him. However, Hector tells her that he has to go. He claims that if he did not go, he would be too embarrased to face the men who did fight. He believes it is his duty to go, and that it would be a cowardly act to ignore his responsibility. Hector's bravery and sense of duty compels him to fight.

What was significant about the Mein Kampf?
tester [92]

Answer:

Correct answer is a. Set forth the leader of Germany's views on the future of Germany and the German people .

Explanation:

Option A is correct as in the Mein Kampf expressed his views on how the future of German people should look like. It is famous for its attitudes that excluded all non-Aryans from German society.

All other options are not correct as they were not part of this book.

They are parts of other arrangements. For example option E is a part of a famous Molotov-Ribbentrop pact. Option D are the agreements between Allies as the WW2 was going towards the end. Option C also is connected to Atlantic Charter.
