Let L and W be the lengths and width, respectively. With the given ratio of the dimensions, lengths may also be equal to 7W/5. The equation for the perimeter is,
                                    P = 2L + 2W
Substituting the values,
                                96 = 2 x (7W/5 + W)
The value of W is 20. Therefore, the dimensions are 20 ft x 28 ft. The answer is letter B.

What is the slope of the line segment? <br> a 1/4<br> b -1/4<br> c 4<br> d 4
galina1969 [7]

to get the slope of any line, we can simply use two points off of it, for this one, say (3,12) and (4,16)

\bf (\stackrel{x_1}{3}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{12})\qquad (\stackrel{x_2}{4}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{16}) \\\\\\ slope = m\implies \cfrac{\stackrel{rise}{ y_2- y_1}}{\stackrel{run}{ x_2- x_1}}\implies \cfrac{16-12}{4-3}\implies \cfrac{4}{1}\implies 4
