In Spanish is used the <em>imperative mode </em><em>for giving commands,</em> which is only used for the second person singular (<em>tú</em>), the second person plural (<em>vosotros</em>), and its courtesy persons respectively (<em>usted, ustedes</em>).
Normally, the way to conjugated a verb in the affirmative imperative for the second person singular is to use the normal conjugation used in the third person singular for the indicative present. But as <em>the</em> <em>verb "ir" is irregular,</em> then the verb most be conjugated as it follows: <em><u>"VE".</u></em> It do not goes with the regular conjugation rule, therefore the conjugation <em><u>is not: "va".</u></em>
