8 steps

Is it F = 1/2  Don't take my word for it, though, I am just trying to solve it in a way that would give you an answer because the problem itself, didn't make much sense. Good Luck!

You are choosing between two different cell phone plans. the first plan charges a rate of 24 cents per minute. the second plan c
Bogdan [553]

x is the number of minutes per month. The plans are equal when

.24 x = 44.95 + .10 x

.14 x = 44.95

x = 44.95/.14 = 321 \frac 1 {14} \textrm{ minutes}

Assuming they round to the nearest minute, 322 minutes per month or more for the second plan to be preferable.

Find the length of the arc in terms of pi
ra1l [238]

Answer:

\frac{\beta }{2\pi } *2\pi r\\

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that perimeter of a circle is given by 2πr (where r is the radius of the circle).

We can say that for an complete angle of 2π the perimeter is 2πr.

Now let us consider a small section of segment making an angle  β at the centre.

According to the proportionality rules the length of the small segment would be

\frac{\beta }{2\pi } *2\pi r\\

Let the perimeter of circle be P then

\frac{\beta }{2\pi } *P

Hence this is the formula for length of an arc subtending angle β.
