Answer: Credibility

Explanation:

Credibility refers to a trait of being trustworthy. If you deliver a speech to the audience they need to trust you in order to believe , the reason why credibility is crucial. Credibility depends on how the audience perceive you in terms of your competence and character.

Audience has to believe you are actual competent in whatever topic you are delivering so that they can believe you are capable of making a logical and valid argument

Credibility can be achieved through referring to your previous achievement and expertise in that topic and sometimes credibility is based on the reputation you have amongst your audience.

If you don't have a great reputation audience are less likely to believe what you say.

Types of Credibility

There are three types of credibility:

Initial

Derived

Terminal

Initial credibility refers to how you introduce your speech , this is only driven by the reputation that you have and your credentials as long the audience know about these , you already have a reputation as you begin the speech.

Derived credibility is the credibility that you obtain during the delivery of your speech. The level of the speaker's professionalism is what get them this credibility.

This means it is derived from the speech that the speaker delivers. If people don't know the speaker's reputation or credentials , this means the speaker doesn't have an initial credibility this one is crucial to obtain.

Terminal credibility is the credibility, this is the lasting impression that the speaker gives at the end of his or her speech.

Answer: First Question.

A. PARASYMPATHETIC BRANCH

Second Question (Question 3)

D. THE MOLECULAR GATES OPEN TO ALLOW SODIUM IONS INTO THE NEURON

Explanation:

PARASYMPATHETIC BRANCH

The Parasympathetic Nervous which at times is referred to as the "rest and digest" system is one of 3 divisions in the Autonomic Nervous System.

It conserves energy as it slows the heart and increases intestinal and gland activity. It essentially takes over when one relaxes from an exciting ordeal.

ACTION POTENTIAL

During an Action Potential, a part of the neural membrane/ molecular gates open up to allow positively charged ions inside the cell and negative ones out.

With sodium being a positive ion, channels open up and positive sodium cells surge into the cell in preparation for an electrical signal being sent down the axon once a threshold has been reached.

Which best describes the fate of the Freedmen's Bureau?
aksik [14]

Answer:

The agency’s power was weakened by conflict and political fighting.

Explanation:

The Freedmen's Bureau was formally referred to as the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands.

The main purpose of the Freedmen's Bureau was to provide assistance (practical aid) to millions of poor whites and formally black slaves living in the South, after the American Revolutionary War. It was established as a federal government agency by the US Congress on the 3rd of March, 1865.

However, the Freedmen's Bureau was prevented from fully achieving its aim and objectives due to insufficient funds, lack of personnels, racial segregation and political conflicts.

Hence, the statement which best describes the fate of the Freedmen's Bureau is that the agency’s power was weakened by conflict and political fighting.

How has the need for water changed over time? Are humans more dependent on water now than in the past?
slega [8]

Answer:

in the past our survival instincts were higher and we were likely more adapted to require less water, nowadays we tend to rely on water more as well as the accessibility of it, an example of this dependability is when snow or cold temperatures cause the water to freeze leaving people with a shortage of water, this affects people greatly, much more than it would have in the past likely
