8f+7-2f=16\\6f=16-7\\6f=9\\f=\frac{9}{6}

We know f, now we want the 12f+1

Therefore, Substitute f = 9/6 in 12f+1

12(\frac{9}{6})+1\\ = 2*9+1\\=18+1\\=19

If you are wondering where 2*9 comes from, it comes from the 12(9/6) and 12 is divided by 6 then we get 2 and multiply the 9 as we get 2*9.

Distribute and simplify to get 6f=9. This means f=1.5 plug 1.5 in for 12f and get 18. 18+1=19

PQ and QR are 2 sides of a regular 12-sided polygon. PR is a diagonal of the polygon. Work out the size of angle PRQ. You must s
dmitriy555 [2]

Answer:

15°

Step-by-step explanation:

A regular polygon is a polygon in which all the sides and angles of the polygon are equal to each other.

A regular 12-sided polygon is a polygon with 12 equal sides and angles.

The sum of interior angles of a polygon is given as:

sum = (2n - 4)90; where n is the number of sides of the polygon

For a 12 sided polygon:

Sum of interior angles = (2 * 12 - 4)90 = (24 - 4)90 = 20 * 90 = 1800°

Therefore since all the angles are equal, each angle = 1800° / 12 = 150°

Therefore in the question, ∠PQR = 150° (angle of a 12 sided polygon), ∠PRQ = ∠QPR = x

Therefore in triangle PQR:

∠PQR + ∠PRQ + ∠QPR = 180°

150 + x + x = 180

150 + 2x = 180

2x = 30

x = 15°

∠PRQ = 15°

Allisa [31]

Answer:

30

Step-by-step explanation:

We require to calculate the volume of 1 brick

V = lbh ( l is length, b is breadth and h is height ), that is

V = 14 × 8 × 5 = 560 cm³

Now divide the volume of concrete available by the volume of 1 brick.

number of bricks made = \frac{16800}{560} = 30

Please Help! I don't want an exact answer, just a brief explanation of what the question actually means.
mel-nik [20]
If the students are hiking at 4 km/h, you'll need to use the schedule to find <em>the total number of hours they spent hiking</em> and multiply it by that rate. According to the activity column, how many time chunks are they hiking for, and how long does each of them last? You can use that information to help answer the question.
