  • By Vertical Angle Theorem ⇒ ∠BCE = ∠DCF
  • ∠BEC = ∠DFC
  • Sides BE = DF

<u>Based on the diagram, triangles BCE and triangles DCF are similar</u>

   ⇒ based on the Angle-Angle theorem

      ⇒ since ∠BCE = ∠DCF and ∠BEC = ∠DFC

         ⇒ the two triangles are similar
