Answer:

sin P=\frac{4}{5}.

Step-by-step explanation:

In triangle QRP

PQ= 20

PR=12

QR= 16

sin\theta= \frac{perpendicular\; side }{Hypotenuse}

sinP=\frac{QR}{PQ}

\therefore sinP=\frac{16}{20}

sinP=\frac{4}{5}

sinQ=\frac{PR}{PQ}

sinQ=\frac{12}{20}

sinQ=\frac{ 3}{5}

In triangle STU

SU=16

UT=34

ST=30

sinU=\frac{ST}{TU}

sinU=\frac{30}{34}

sinU=\frac { 15}{17}

sinT=\frac{US}{UT}

sinT=\frac{16}{34}

sinT=\frac {8}{17}

Hence, sinP=\frac{4}{5}.

Sin = Opp/Hypo
so

Snowboarders use angle measures to describe their flips and spin explain what a snowboarder would mean by each statement? plz he
lidiya [134]
If you spin on the spot and go completely around just once and stop, you "did a 360" since you moved in a circle and circles have 360 degrees.

So a 720 would be two complete turns and a 540 would be 1 and a half complete turns.

The number is <em>the amount of degrees they rotated through</em>. What's cool is, snow boarders do this while in mid air as a trick when going over jumps.

30-60-90 triangle adjacent leg is 15. what is the opposite leg?
Rainbow [258]

The measure of the opposite leg is 25.98

<u>Step-by-step explanation</u>:

Step 1 :

In a right triangle,

  • The side opposite to 90° is the hypotenuse = 2a.
  • The side opposite to 30° is the adjacent leg = a.
  • The side opposite to 60° is the opposite leg = a√3.

Step 2 :

Given,

Adjacent leg, a = 15

Opposite leg, a√3 = 15 \times 1.732

Opposite leg = 25.98

I need help with 3&amp;4 ...
scZoUnD [109]
General form for circle is
(x - a)^2 + (y - b)^2 = r^2

so if center is at (3,-2) we can plug in a and b:-

(x-3)^2 + (y+2)^2 = r^2

Now plug in x = 7 and y =1  (from the point R)

4^2 + 3^2 = r^2
r^2 =  25  making r = 5

so its diameter = 2*5 = 10
