Answer:

Membrane Transport by ion channels.

Explanation:

Stromal interaction molecules STIM1 and STIM2 are membrane proteins localized in the Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER). It has been shown that these proteins play important cellular functions. For example, STIM1 and STIM2 ion channels are involved in the activation of cell surface receptors, being it a specific signaling pathway associated with the store‐operated calcium entry. Calcium ions (Ca2+) in the cytoplasm are released from the ER by STIM1 and STIM2, and this protein activity is required for initiating different cellular processes including apoptosis, migration and cell proliferation.

The Huntington's disease is common in people of Africa because this disease is very frequent among the Dutch descent population or Afrikaner in the South Africa, as the gene for this disease is unusually very common among the small population of the original Dutch colonists. The disease has been so common in the generations of the Afrikaner since last 14 generations. It is less prominent now as compared to how it was previously.

Trna with the anticodon 3′-acg-5′ brings _____ amino acid during translation. Please submit your answer with three letters.
erica [24]

Answer:

Cys

Explanation:

tRNA or transfer RNA has an anticodon which base pairs with the complementary codon on mRNA or messenger RNA. It brings the amino acid corresponding to the codon present on mRNA. Since the tRNA here has anticodon ACG in 3' to 5' direction, the complementary codon on mRNA will be UGC in 5' to 3' direction. UGC codon corresponds to Cysteine amino acid which is abbreviated as Cys in three letters.
