The answer should be C, 50%

First we need to find the alleles for Mr Jones. We know that he has a blood type B, so at least one allele should be B, and the other can either be B or O (cannot be A, or else his blood type would be AB because A and B are co-dominant alleles)
Since Mr Jones' parents are both blood type AB, so which means their allels must be A and B, so, we can conclude that Mr Jones alleles should be B and B.

Now we know Mr jones' alleles, we can conduct a punnett square to find the probability. Since Mrs Jones has blood type AB, again, her alleles are also A and B.

From the punnett square attached, we can conclude that their offspring are either blood type AB or pure B. So, the answer should be 50%, C.

What information is contained in the branches of a cladogram?
Brums [2.3K]

The branching point on a cladogram represents a common ancestor. A cladogram is a diagram used in cladistics to show relations among organisms. However it is not an evolutionary tree since it does not show how ancestors are related to descendants, nor does it show how much they have changed.

When protein consumption is in excess of body needs and energy needs are met, the excess amino acids are broken down and the ene
ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

Stored as fat

Explanation:

The body requires a variety of macro nutrients for building blocks to fortify the body and keep it functioning. One of the important building blocks are amino acids that are derived from proteins. These are broken down in the stomach by protein digestion enzymes by amylase, proteases and hydrochloric acid.

In the even that the body has taken in too many units of protein this will be stored in the liver as glycogen. This is a form of "animal carbohydrate" or "animal sugar."

The glycogen stores will remain there for a reservoir for energy whenever the body requires it. In the event of overeating the body will store the glycogen in a more concentrated form, fat via the fatty acid synthesis pathway.

Peristalsis is a series of wave-like muscle contractions that move food through the digestive tract. ... There, the food is churned into a liquid mixture called chyme that moves into the small intestine where peristalsis continues. Stretching out a piece of intestine will make it easier to see the wave-like motion
