Multicellular plants and animals have organs to perform specific functions. What do eukaryotic cells have to perform specific fu
VLD [36.1K]

Eukaryotic cells have specific membrane bounded organelles to perform various specific functions.

Eukaryotic cells are cells that have a true membrane-bound nucleus and other membrane bound organelles (organized and specialized structures) that perform various functions within the cell. The organelles include; nucleus (the most important organelle and the control center of the cell), ribosomes (which arranges enzymes and other proteins based on the information found in the DNA code), endoplasmic reticulum (which is the site of cellular chemical reactions), Golgi apparatus, vacuoles (which serves as temporary storage sites), lysosomes, and mitochondria (which is responsible for making the cell’s main energy-carrying molecule).

Lubov Fominskaja [6]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

Both DNA and RNA are made from nucleotides, each containing a five-carbon sugar backbone, a phosphate group, and a nitrogen base. DNA provides the code for the cell's activities, while RNA converts that code into proteins to carry out cellular functions.
