The American Revolution started with the battles of Lexington and Concord. The British army was sent to appropriate ammunition and weapons in Concord. When they were heading to Concord they were intercepted by <em>the Minutemen</em> at Lexington Green. The Minutemen was part of the militia but with a special training. They were supposed to be ready to fight in a minute.

Unfortunately for them, the resistance was brief and the Americans withdrew with. They had some casualties. Eventually, the British reached Concord, but the Americans had gained additional support and they fight back. What happened next was that the British soldiers under heavy fire.
