Correct answer:

A. The Declaration of Independence established a new country, while the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen only lists a set of principles.

America's Declaration of Independence was establishing the new country's break from Great Britain. In France a little more than a decade later, the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen was a statement of principles as representatives of the people were seeking to reform government under the French monarchy.

Additional historical note:

Your question asked about a difference between the documents. There are also key similarities. One important similarity is that both declarations emphasize that persons have natural rights that are to be preserved and protected. The Scientific Revolution had shown that there are natural laws in place in the physical world and in the universe at large. Applying similar principles to matters like government and society, Enlightenment thinkers believed that using reason will guide us to the best ways to operate politically so we can create the most beneficial conditions for society. The declarations at the heart of the American Revolution and French Revolution both emphasized the natural rights of people.

I WILL GIVE BRAINIEST TO SAMPLE RESPONSE!!
amid [387]

Answer:

Because Anahuac was located on a river, it was a major pathway for trade (importing and exporting goods). For this reason, the Mexican government stationed military troops at the town to monitor the trade to make sure that no illegal activity occurred. The behavior of some of the Mexican soldiers created tension in the town. Because of its success and location, Mexico wanted to tax the people more (customs duties) so that the Mexican government could profit. Other cities who were on major waterways were not taxed as much as Anahuac which created animosity among the town’s people. The incidents at Anahuac reinforced Texan’s ideas that Mexico was treating them unfairly.

The priests and explorers who traveled the world ______
kykrilka [37]

Answer:

usually treated the native inhabitants poorly

Explanation:

The explorers almost always had priests with them on their ships. Both had different reasons for exploration, the explorers had wealth in mind, while the priests to convert more people to their faith and thus increase their influence. What they shared between them was that they often treated the native inhabitants very poorly. The explorers were torturing them, killing them, stealing gold and silver from them, using them as slaves. The priests on the other hand were forcing them to accept their religion, and were trying their best to erase their own native religion, often using brutal measures to achieve their goals.
