Elie Wiesel was a Romanian-born American writer, professor, political activist, Nobel laureate, and Holocaust survivor. He was a professor in the university of Boston. He was one of the Jewish taken as captive in Auschwitz where he lost his parents and younger sister who were killed by the Nazi Germans.
