Travka [436]

The correct answer is C) the Freedmen's Bureau distributing supplies.

The activity that this drawing depicts is the Freedmen's Bureau distributing supplies.

The United States Congress established the Freedmen's Bureau in 1865 after the American Civil War. The purpose of this government office was to offer some help to African Americans and poor white people who were suffering from harsh economic conditions after the war between Confederates and the Union Army. What kind of help did the Bureau offer to the American people? Well, basically, medical aid, food, and housing. The federal government also tried to help them with education support. The bad news was that the office lacked the proper support to really represent a real helping hand to all the people that needed relief.

lutik1710 [3]
This question is a little ambiguous as it doesn't give reference to what 'favourable' is but I've attached a diagram that depicts the different types of climate in Brazil to help.
