10 because 3$ times two is 5 dollars in euros, and 4 dollars is 3 dollars in euros. Therefore if you add 6 and four together you get a total of 10 dollars

Answer:

2. It will be a 7 3/4in x 12 1/4in rectangle

4.  31,987 in^2

6. 30 547/640 in^3

Step-by-step explanation:

2. This is a cross-section. In order to get the cross-section, you take your shape. (a 7 3/4 x 12 1/4 x 3 3/4 rectangle) and essentially you remove the last dimension (Height).

4. Take your surface area value (319 35/64) and multiply it by 100 (10 per dimension length and width). This leaves you with 319.87x100 = 31,987 in^2

6. (308 35/64)/10. Pretty easy, take 308.546875, divide by 10, and you get 30.8546875, which is 30 547/640 in^3 in fractions.

A young person with no initial capital invests k dollars per year at an annual rate of return r. Assume that investments are mad
WARRIOR [948]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that a young person with no initial capital invests k dollars per year at an annual rate of return r. Assume that investments are made continuously and that the return is compounded continuously

a) Amount accumulated at time t

S(t) = ke^{rt}, where r = rate of interest and t = time lapsed

b) Here S = 1,000,000

1000000 = ke^{0.075(40)} \\k= 1000000e^{-0.075(40)}\\=49802.56

So 49802.56 dollars to be invested to get 1 million after 40 years

c) k = 2000 per year

I 2000 will be for 40 years, II 2000 for 39 years, ..... Last 2000 for 0 years

i.e. final amount would be

2000[(e^{40r} +(e^{39r} +....e^r] = 1000000\\500 = \frac{e^r(e^{40r}-1}{e^r-1}

solving we get r = 9.6% approxy

Subtract the quotient of 15 ÷ 3 from the sum of 33 and 7.
Marina86 [1]
A quotient is the number you get after divided. 15 divided by 3 is 5. The sum is the number you get after adding two numbers. 33 plus 7 is 40. Then subtract the quotient (5) from the sum (40) to get your answer. 40-5=35. And ignore that person who answered rudely.

Please help with steps??? Question: Find the solution for a system of equations by elimination
Margaret [11]

Answer:

x = -84, y = -58

Step-by-step explanation:

2x - 3y = 6 --- Equation 1

Equation 1×5: 10x - 15y = 30 --- Equation 2

5x + 7y = -14 --- Equation 3

Equation 3×2: 10x + 14y = -28 --- Equation 4

I will eliminate 10x.

Equation 4-2:

10x - 15y - 10x + 14y = 30-(-28)

-y = 30+28

   = 58

y = -58

Substitute y  =-58 into Equation 1.

2x - 3y = 6

2x - 3(-58) = 6

2x - (-174) = 6

2x + 174 = 6

Find 2x.

2x = 6-174

    = -168

Find x.

x = -168 ÷ 2

x = -84
