The body has growth spurts, so you can grow, and your body changes, slowly, but surely, changing you into an adult.

Answer:

Because the organism needs to become able to reproduce.

Explanation:

Puberty is defined as a physiological process of hormonal maturation and growth that causes changes in an individual's body making the organism able to reproduce and coincide with adolescence. During puberty there are changes in the pattern of secretion of some hormones, predominantly testosterone in boys and estradiol in girls. With the exception of the fetal period, there is no other stage in human development in which growth in height and changes in body composition are so intense and rapid. The pubertal stretch lasts about three to four years and represents a gain of approximately 20% of height and 50% of the individual's adult weight. Adolescents of the same age are often at different stages of puberty, as puberty has a very variable onset and progression rate between them.

Which of the following is an example of direct economic value of biodiversity?
WITCHER [35]

Answer: detoxify and decompose waste

Explanation:

Billions of tonnes of organic waste is processed every year by earth’s decomposing organisms. Industrial waste including detergents, oils, acids and paper are also detoxified and decomposed by the activities of living things. Well you could say that bacteria, algae and worms break down organic materials and release essential nutrients to plants. The Nitrogen Cycle is a good example. And there are many flowering plants rely on the activities of various animal species – bees, butterflies, bats and birds to help them reproduce through the transportation of pollen. More than one third of humanity’s food crops depend on this process of natural pollination.

And if Crop pests are controlled by organisms such as insects, birds and fungi, which are a much better form of pesticide than chemical pesticides that can harm plant and water sources yes your answer is detoxify and decompose waste. (:
