The correct answer is D) A Patriot loss at Kettle Creek would have given the British control of Georgia's backcountry towns and settlements.

The most likely result if the Patriots had lost the Battle of Kettle Creek would have been "a Patriot loss at Kettle Creek would have given the British control of Georgia's backcountry towns and settlements."

We are talking about an armed confrontation between the Continental Army and the British troops, as part of the Revolutionary War. On February 14, 1779, both armies fought the Battle at Kettle Creek, in Wilkes County, Georgia. On its march to the city of Augusta, the Continental Army intercepted and defeated a troop of loyalists.

I believe this is a crime against B. society.
Illegal drug abuse is considered crime against society because Alan can not only harm himself while being high, but also people around him. This is why he is considered a danger to the society, although he is being injurious towards himself as well - however, crime against yourself isn't really a crime.

The principle that holds that the powers of government should be limited and embodied in a basic written law is referred to as constitutionalism.
This means that the government has to adhere to the Constitution, which is the utmost and most important law in a country. Anything that doesn't somehow align with the Constitution will be considered illegal, so obviously the government has to follow its rules.
