I believe that you can eliminate the phrase from now and the sentence will still keep its original meaning.
If you say that something will happen in one year, it obviously means that it will happen in one year from the moment you said that. So it is not necessary to repeat that phrase because it is redundant.

Which sentence is an example of faulty coordination?
levacccp [35]

Answer:

d). Helen and Evan went to see the movie, and it was a very good movie.

Explanation:

The last sentence i.e. 'Helen and Evan...good movie' demonstrates faulty coordination as the second clause linked through the coordinating conjunction 'and' employs a wrong antecedent 'it.' <u>'It' is a singular pronoun which is incorrectly used to refer to the plural noun 'Helen and Evan</u>.' <u>Another error in the sentence is that the first clause talks about 'Helen and Evan' while the second clause abruptly shifts to the movie which puzzles the meaning of the sentence</u>. Hence, it is erroneous coordination and therefore, <u>option d</u> is the correct answer.

Acobs creates suspense through the use of setting, foreshadowing, and purposeful omission. The story takes place at the White residence, which is relatively isolated and located away from the nearest road. This isolated location adds to the haunting atmosphere of the story and is significant to the plot. Jacobs also foreshadows the ramifications of wishing upon the magic monkey's paw through Sergeant-Major Moris's enigmatic story.
