when you expand problems like these you need to multiple the number in front of the variable the the other numbers in front of the variables and add the exponents
like this
-4•11= -44 | 5+3=8 I -44x⁸
-4•2= -8 | 2+5=7 | -8x⁷
-4•9= -36 | 1+5=6 | -36x⁶
-4•1= -4 | 0+5=5 | -4x⁵
put it all together and you get -44x⁸–8x⁷–36x⁶–4x⁵
