<u>Answer</u>:

<em>b. False</em>

<u>Explanation:</u>

<em>Modernist thinkers believed and cared very less about the social norms. They found that art, literature, dance, drama, music, architecture etc.,</em> are ill fitted and out dated in their task and believed more in economic, political ideas.

The Modernist beliefs concentrated more on <em>the break down and separation of the people in spite of growth and advancement</em>.

<em>Modernist thinkers are the first ones who did not believe in God to do miracles and they grew sceptical of their religion and religious faith.</em>

Aneli [31]

In the lines 1 from 18, Macbeth is very rude with the servant and he didn't believe what the servant says anymore. He also continuously insults the servant when he says, “Go... thy face and over... , / Thou lily-livered boy. What soldiers, patch? /... Those linen cheeks of thine / Are counselors to fear. What soldiers, whey-face” which are in lines 14-17. Also, Macbeth depicts the servant as a coward and a clown. Hope this helps.

Stolb23 [73]

Answer:

He had started to doubt himself, unsure of how and why the ghost had appeared and for what purpose.

Explanation:

Act I of William Shakespeare's tragic play "Hamlet" shows the young prince Hamlet meeting his dead father's ghost for the first time. And then came the revelation by the former King's ghost of how he had been murdered. This revelation took Hamlet by surprise but also made him vow to exact revenge on the culprit.

When Hamlet said <em>"it is an honest ghost",</em> he was fully sure of what he had been told by the ghost. But later on, he again said <em>"The spirit that I have seen may be the devil"</em>, implying that he's starting to question the whole situation. Earlier, he had been so much consumed with grief about his father's death that when the ghost came, he was fully co-operative with the plan and the story. But later on, when he isn't with the ghost and had time to think more clearly, he began to doubt his own decision.
