This is because he was suspicious of bankers and felt that he needed to defend workers and the protection of the rights of labor. He equally sought for monetary reforms and the nationalization of major industries and railroads. He was both anti-communist and anti-capitalist with his political views being driven by the working man who was being deceived by social hierarchy and manufacturers.
