Why did the church support the geocentric theory
harkovskaia [24]

The Geocentric theory or model proposed that the Earth was the center of the universe and the Sun rotated around it. Religion played a big role throughout history in trying to perpetuate this scientifically erroneous idea, which started appearing as a biblical perspective pointing towards specific passages in the holy book. A classic one would be Psalms 93:1, in which Earth is described as a static place "established, firm and secured". The church's support of geocentrism can be traced back to literal intepretations of the bible and a refusal to lose credibility and power as science proved them wrong.

Hope this helps!

TOPIC - Why the demand for Indian indigo<br> 2 minute seminar about Why the demand for Indian indigo
Setler [38]

Answer:

just a start

Explanation:

The indigo trade, or the transportation of the product from the location where it was produced to the people who consumed it, was a critical component of the commodity chain. This is also the component for which we have consistent and trustworthy data. This enables us to calculate trade aggregates over relatively long time periods, detect and analyze patterns of development and decline, and interpret these phenomena in their local and global settings. Indigo trade volume expansion or contraction reflects the potentialities of production and supply in India on the one hand, and the dynamics of local and external demand for it on the other.
