First make 3x+17=5x-3 so that it’s an equation. X=10. Then you plug that into one of the equations above. 3(10)+17 which equals 47. Then we know that a quadrilaterals angles add up to 360. So we know that two angles are 47 degrees=94 then you subtract that from 360=266 then to get the individual angle you divide that by two. Which equals 133 which is your final answer!

Answer:

∠ DAB = 133°

Step-by-step explanation:

The opposite angles of a parallelogram are congruent, thus

5x - 3 = 3x + 17 ( subtract 3x from both sides )

2x - 3 = 17 ( add 3 to both sides )

2x = 20 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 10, thus

∠ ADC = 3x + 17 = 3(10) + 17 = 30 + 17 = 47°

In a parallelogram consecutive angles are supplementary, thus

∠ DAB = 180° - 47° = 133°

How do you evaluate?
Lera25 [3.4K]

We evaluate an algebraic expression by the determination of an unknown variable.

Evaluation is a systematic method used in solving most algebraic expressions in mathematics.

Let assume that we have a given algebraic expression where y is expressed in terms of x and;

y = 2x + 5    where (x = 4)

  • Here, y and x are the variables;

y = 2(4) + 5

y = 8 + 5

y = 13

B is the midpoint of AC, D is the midpoint of CE, and AE = 11. Find BD.
inessss [21]

Answer:

5.5

Step-by-step explanation:

B is the midpoint of AC, D is the midpoint of CE

This means that CE = 1/2 AE

CD = 1/2 ( 11)

CD = 5.5
