Anyone know a good graph/chart idea for colonial taxes?
grigory [225]
A good idea would be to use the 7 year war. It’s a good way to talk about colonial taxes because it was the start of it all the war was only supposed to be 6 months and it turned into seven year so the started taxing the people and colonies in order to make back the money the had lost during the war

Why did many colonists protest the Stamp Act?
Veronika [31]
The Stamp Act of 1765 was levied mainly at the American Colonists in order for the British to make money off of them. The colonists did not want the stamp act, and stated that it was unconstitutionanal, and became extremely violent. Parliament repealed the Stamp Act in 1766, but passed another one in a different name that includes what the Stamp Act had in it.

Evaluating Government Locations Question 3 Explain the extent to which you agree or disagree with this statement: The advantages
sashaice [31]

Answer and Explanation:

Federalism promotes the separation of powers within a government. This is very beneficial, as it limits the power of government officials within the region, reinforces enforcement that discourages abuse of power, promotes democracy, and allows power to be decentralized. In this sense, I can say that I agree that the benefits of federalism outweigh its harm, since we cannot imagine the disaster that our nation would be managed without it. In addition, we have examples of countries that have not adopted federalism and have bigger problems than ours.

However, it is not correct to ignore the disadvantages that this system promotes, the largest of which are cases of negligence and irresponsibility towards the citizen. However, observing the possibility of claiming rights that federalism imposes, we can consider that its advantages are greater.
