The inner core of the earth is molten due to the enormous heat and pressure in the region. This heat is also fed by the natural decay of radioactive elements in the earth interior. The earth core has a molten outer core of mainly iron and nickel metals that churn due to convection current and spin like a funneled tornado due to the earth rotation. The metals are also ionized (due to the high temperatures) and hence act as an electric current as they churn and produce magnetic fields (that extends around the earth to outer space). There are usually disturbances in churning (that cause incremental instabilities in the magnetic field) and if well-pronounced result to the reversal of the earth’s magnetic fields.

Explain why global trade patterns are changing ttoday
gregori [183]

Answer:

Products and services previously available within one country are made available to new markets outside the country due to globalization. In addition, countries with positive relations between them are able to increasingly unify their economies through increased investment and trade.

Land echoes the arguments discussed previously: that free trade causes global inequalities, poor working conditions in many developing nations, job loss, and economic imbalance. But, free trade also leads to a "net transfers of labor time and natural resources between richer and poorer parts of the world

Hope this helps you

The greatest volume of magma produced on earth occurs at ______________. hint: it's where the vast majority of new crust forms o
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

Divergent boundaries such as the mid-oceanic ridge system.

Explanation:

Divergent boundaries occur when plate boundaries pull away from each other. Molten rock or magma rise from the gap between the two plates, rising up to the sea floor where it cools down to form new crust. It is the mid-ocean ridges where you see the most magma produced and there has not been any other tectonic event or area that could match its procution since the Precambrian period.

14. Which of the following is likely the biggest threat to the existence of the European
8090 [49]

Answer:

Average life expectancy in most European countries extends well past the age of retirement.

Explanation:

The European Union, or at least most of its members, tend to have relatively good welfare systems. This is the case because of the strong economies of the countries but also because it helps the population, which in turn tends to have positive effects. Some countries are even targeted for migration just because of their generous welfare system.

This situation is very likely to change though as there is a very big chance that the economies of the European countries will not be able to sustain the welfare systems that they currently have. The main reason for this is that the population is aging. With the population becoming older and older, there are more and more people that rely on the welfare system, creating a disbalance in its functioning. On top of that, life expectancy is high and is gradually increasing, meaning that not just more people will rely on the welfare system but also for a longer period of time.
