It will be 2/42 you count out the letters in “ALGEBRA” and then you can the A’s which equal a fraction 2/7 then you subtract 1 from the numerator and the denominator which then equals  1/6. Then you multiply the fractions and get 2/42

Solve<br><br> y=34x<br> y=-54x+52
jeyben [28]

Answer:

x= 13/22

Step-by-step explanation:

you can substitute y= 34 x on the second equation

34x = -54x +52  add 54x to both sides

34x +54x  = -54x +54x +52

88x = 52  divide both side by 4

22x = 13  divide both sides by 22

x= 13/22

FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

  • The approximate distance between the docks is 357 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the distance between docks be d.

This is the opposite side to 45° angle of triangle with other sides 400 ft and 500 ft.

Use the law of cosines to find the value of d:

  • d = \sqrt{400^2+500^2-2*400*500*cos45} =357 (rounded)

  • We have a bag with 4 white chips and 6 black chips
  • Question : What is the probability of randomly choosing a white chip, not replacing it, and then randomly choosing another white chip?

4 white and 6 black

4 + 6 = 10

Choosing the first white chip : \frac{2}{5}

Since we took one out , now

3 white chips , 6 black chips

3 + 6 = 9

Choosing another white chip : \frac{1}{3}

\frac{2}{5} * \frac{1}{3}

\frac{2}{15}
