Yes, I think that Joyce does have the ability to beautifully describe scenery because of her use of vibrant adjectives and colorful scenery. Joyce is able to capture the beauty Gabriel is seeing with her wording and tone.

I think that Joyce's description of the scene is not beautiful at all. The reason I believe this is because he uses words with a strongly negative, depressing, and lonley tone as he describes a scene of death. Examples of this is when he wrote, "lonely churchyard" and "spear of the little gate, on the barren thorns".

Who preserve and pass on the oral tradition?
cricket20 [7]

Answer:

The people

Explanation:

The people are responsible for preserving and transmitting the oral traditions of a culture, allowing that culture to remain for many years. This is because it is the people who speak these traditions, establishing a communication about them that is passed on from one generation to the next and so on. If the people do not communicate these traditions, they are neither preserved nor transmitted, but they are doomed to oblivion and death.
