It makes sense that increasing the rate of plastics recycling is helpful for eliminating waste. Think about it, when something can be reused, then it should be. Recycling allows this to happen and prevents landfills from being filled too quickly.

Ecological succession begins with pioneer plants in primary succession. The biodiversity will increase to include shrubs, then plants like trees will eventually appear.
It all depends on the species, some lose all of their leaves for part of the year while others lose their leaves before the next growing season, retaining some during winter or dry periods.
