Hitler's Blitzkrieg was a military tactic that disorganized his enemies forces through the use of mobile forces and concentrated firepower. It was effective and short and when successfully executed it could preserve human lives and limits the use of artillery.

Fun Fact: The term "Blitzkrieg" in German means "Lightning War".

Hitler's blitzkrieg tactics were effective as the Allies had not prepared for that kind of war and therefore were not able to counter it the first few times.

I think it was the Age of Discovery.  After the Crusades and the fall of Feudalism, the growth of towns and commerce attracted interest in other lands that began during the Crusades when they were exposed the silks and spices being traded there.  This prompted European powers to embark on journeys to establish trade routes as well as find new lands to colonize.

blimp jk it was a time in the Western US of droughts with no water and people were very poor because the farmers ran off of crops but there was a drought so all the crops died therefore no money for farmers(aka everyone)
