Answer:

The Arabian Peninsula is situated between the Arabian Sea (Indian Ocean) and the Mediterrnen Sea. As there was no sea connection, trade routes criss crossed the Peninsula and imporant trding ports sprang up all along the perifery. This was the primary economic activity for centuries, involvement in trade or raiding those involved in trade. With the Islamic outburst, Arabs seized control of a vast empire (7th century).

John Jay's treaty was taken for bring the solution of everlasting dispute between America and Britain. In this treaty America was successful to built an economic policy upon which Britain kept faith and a mutual understanding was there in between these two countries.

Though the republican party suffered a lot from this treaty. They felt embarrassed as these two countries never in a a situation of sit together and draw a solution for their own. John Jay's treaty was successful. There was as such no public protest happened.

Michigan entered as a free state as it was one of the most north states of the U.S and still is. That meant it was filled of people that had a bad tone towards slavery. Florida is one of the most southern states and was filled with cotton farms in northern Florida ( South Florida was uninhabited by Americans cause there were marches and alligators I;e Everglades) Iowa was also a free state. Iowa was near Michigan and also had a population that disliked slavery.
