ACTIVITY 1 DIRECTIONS: Determine the approach that can be used to analyze the following topics in certain literary selections
Ostrovityanka [42]

The approach that can be used to analyze the themes of certain literary selections are: literal comprehension and interpretive comprehension.

What is literal compression?

Literal understanding is a term that refers to a way of understanding in which an individual literally relies on what a literary text suggests without interpreting or analyzing that information.

What is interpretive comprehension?

Interpretive compression is a term that refers to the compression mode in which the reader, in addition to extracting the literal ideas of a text, interprets them to understand them from a specific point of view and scenario.

According to the above, the issues raised can be understood from the interpretive and literal understanding because the reader has the opportunity to analyze the issues interpretively or literally understand what a text raises.

Which novel is the best selling of all time — with over 500 million sold?
Marianna [84]
The novel which is the best selling novel of all time - with over 500 million copies sold - is Don Quixote.
The novel was written by Miguel de Cervantes in 1605 (and the second volume in 1615). It is about a landlord called Don Quixote, whose delusional mental disease made him think he is an errant knight on a quest to defend his lady Dulcinea's honor by having to fight all sorts of enemies, like windmills (which he thought were giants) and such.
Although it is not the most selling book of all time (the Bible is), it is still the most selling novel, followed by A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, and The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien.
