Lastly, the third person utilizes the pronouns "he", "she", "it", "they", or a name. In this case, the passage reads:
"She's a good dog, isn't she?" Doris said, hoping one of them would agree with her.
In this passage, the pronouns she and them indicate third-person point of view (C).
Meekness is the correct vocabulary word! Because it means she's shy or timid and they mistake that for weakness like she's not strong enough to stand up to them.
