When the cell cycle is disrupted, cells can grow and divide uncontrollably. what makes cancer cells different from normal, non-c
Alex17521 [72]

When an oncogene is turned on and is not balanced through suppression of tumor suppressor gene, the normal cells become cancerous and divides unregulated. Normal cells differentiate while cancer cells do not. Additionally, while normal cells respond to endocrine and paracrine signals from neighboring cells, cancer cells do not. Cancer cells have malfunctioned apoptosis process due to a malfunctioned p53 tumor suppressor gene. Therefore they continue to divide even when they have damage to their DNA. Cancer cells metastasize because, unlike normal cells, they do not produce an adhesive molecule that allows the cells to adhere to one another to form tissue.

Organelles. Name them and tell what they are composed of?
VikaD [51]

Nucleus, vacuole, Golgi apparatus, ribosomes, rough endoplasmic reticulum, vacuole, Mitochondria, Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum, Lysosomes, centriole are the organelles.

Explanation:

Organelles are the membranous cellular structure inside the cell performing specialised functions.

Nucleus: It consists of DNA, the genetic material, chromosome, histone proteins, nuclear envelope.

Vacuole: These are membranous organelles having water, inorganic and organic molecules, waste material and nutrients.

Mitochondria: They have two phospholipid bilayers and proteins, cristae and matrix.

Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum: It is made up of tubules and vesicles that eventually forms a branch.

Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum: It is composed of tubules, vesicles and cisternae and held by cytoskeleton.

Golgi Apparatus: It has cisternae placed in stacks and lumens, stores the protein to be modified.

Lysosomes: It is composed of lipids and proteins. It has a single layer membrane, lysosome enzyme.

Ribosome: It is made up of rRNA and rProtein.

Centrioles: These are made up of proteins named microtubules.

Vampire squid (Vampyroteuthisinfernalis) are deep-sea cephalopods with features similar to both octopus and squid. Extensive vid
Darya [45]

Answer:

Dentritivore

Explanation:

Dentritivores are heterotrophs that depend on other organisms to derive their nutrients from by feeding on their dead remains as well as consuming their feces. Dentritivores play an important role in the recycling of nutrients in an ecosystem and can be found almost at all trophic levels of the ecosystem. Dentritivores can be referred to as “bottom-feeders” in which in an aquatic habitat, most of them are found on the seabed. Other examples aside the vampire squid, include crabs, lobsters, sea stars.

What is the function of  golgi apparatus?
Andrews [41]
A Golgi apparatus receives proteins from the rough endoplasmic reticulum. The Golgi apparatus modifies, sorts, and packages the proteins to be sent out of the cell to be used. Hope this helps! :)
