Why were french settlers in nova scotia expelled by the british during the war
Kryger [21]

Answer:

The british expelled the french from nova scotia on account of the French acadian war, and british military campaign against New France.

Explanation:

From 1755-1764 the british expelled the acadian people- acadia was a colony of France- as part of the war campaign against the French. New France was a French- colonized area in North America, which was entrenched in war against the british, which resulted in the deportation of the acadian people to the rest of the thirteen colonies and to France.

What events lead Roosevelt to presidency?
umka21 [38]

President McKinley was assassinated. ANd at the time TR was the VP for McKinley. And only reason he was the VP is because businesses didn't want to deal with him, so they I think bribed McKinley to have TR be his VP (although double check me on that). After that, people of America realized that he was a pretty solid president and elected him for two terms afterwards.
Theodore Roosevelt was the Vice-President of William McKinley. While attending the Pan American Exposition in Buffalo, NY on 6 September 1901, McKinley was assassinated, dying from his wounds days later. Vice President Roosevelt is now President Roosevelt.
