the Nile River. This river sometimes flooded, but also assisted the farmers in
farming. Egyptians did not have to worry about desert. The Nile often would
deposit quite a bit of rich dark soil called “kemet” in Egypt after a slight
flood, one that can’t do a lot of damage. In the outer regions of Egypt, the desert did hurt them by having droughts and damaging dry weather. Nevertheless, the Egyptians formed a way of irrigation, moving water from one place to another.
