What was the biggest challenge President Wilson faced in Europe and at home as he tried to promote his Fourteen Points?

History

The correct answer is “People in Europe and the United States wanted the treaty to focus on punishing Germany, not on making future wars harder to start.”

Wilson’s 14 points focused on settle border disputes, military cutbacks, lower tariffs and ban secret treaties between nations - that mainly caused the conflict -. But Wilson did not want to go and over-punish Germany and this was the main problem he faced, France, Britain, and Italy rejected his peace treaty with Germany because of that.

Some points of the 14 were included on the Treaty of Versailles, but the Allies wanted Germany to accept the blame for the war and make them pay 33 billion dollars in reparations and give large parts of the German territory. This eventually caused the outbreak of WWII.

Which of the following was an advantage held by the patriots during the revolutionary war?
olga_2 [115]
Please keep in mind that the website link doesn't work....

Right away we can toss out D, as the patriots primarily consisted of local militia with little training. We can also toss out C, as our new country did not have any manufacturing capabilities (at least not for weapons). The war was fought with weapons provided by other countries and weapons that people brought from the original European homes. We can also dismiss A. as we did not have a larger population than England. The result is B. Washington was a skilled general who fought in the French-Indian Wars.
