On Jan. 20, Kamala Harris will become vice president of the United States – the first woman, the first person of South Asian descent, and the first African American to do so. Harris will also become the first vice president to have graduated from a historically black college or university.
Each of these achievements is significant in its own right. However, the vice presidency itself has traditionally been a relatively insignificant position, though the office has become more influential in recent years.
Because they were so close to these rivers, they serve as sources of drinking water. What gave opportunity for people to settle and become sedentary, focusing initially on agriculture and land security, with this the population grew and avoided the risks of nomadic communities, not having to go to places unknown or dangerous or run out of food. Therefore, over time they then focused on more complex areas such as politics, economy and architecture. Promoting the development of the community that over the years were the foundations of modern civilization.
The feature is the rule of law. Unlike people, legislature cannot be affected by passion and if law rules then everyone is equal in the eyes of law. If a man rules and has absolute power, they can be affected by various things that might make them abuse their power, and law cannot abuse power on its own.
